Although no longer a working farm our cottages retain much of their traditional elements of construction. The farmhouse and main buildings date from the 17th century, while the Cider Mill with original press and stonemill wheel is of 15th century origin.
We have 4 acres of landscaped gardens and grounds, chairs and benches for sitting out and relaxing. Two grass paddocks provide an excellent recreation area.
The cottages have been architect designed and lovingly restored, conserving many original structures, such as the old oak beams and timbers. These and other features are combined with stylish interior designs of an exceptionally high standard to create the perfect atmosphere for rest and relaxation.
Beds are made up for your arrival. Bedding includes a duvet and linen with extra blankets provided. Tea towels are provided but you are requested to bring your own personal towels.
Each cottage has its own key to a discrete service room with a deep freeze for bulk food storage. A dial-out telephone service and laundry facilities are also available.
There are excellent shopping facilities in nearby Monmouth. Fresh eggs from our own chickens and ducks are available from the farmhouse.
Good garage and parking facilities are allocated to each cottage.
